Wonderful stay in an amazing wee place. Lodge fantastic, feels like you are in the middle of a forest but only a short walk to the village. Staff very responsive and friendly.

I had a lovely few days staying at Salmon Run Lodge. It is very comfortable and warm, handy when its -10 at night! Endless supply of logs for the wood burner.
Kitchen is well equipped, and layout is great.
Had an issue with the Wi-Fi. Reported day 1 but wasnt actioned until end of day 2, fixed midday on day 3. Wouldnt have been an issue but I couldnt get the tv to work properly either, so I was without wifi, tv and radio for most of my stay. Important when you are a lone guest.
The property has a sauna, but my lack of technical prowess meant that I couldnt get that working, not such a big deal for me but might be for others. Hot tub was fabulous, particularly when it was snowy and cold.
All in all, I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
Great family summer holiday

Our family of five had a great summer holiday a the Salmon Run Lodge.
Great location with easy access down to the river, leading to a short walk to the village and access to the woodlands.
The lodge is great with the added bonus of hot tub and sauna.
Great service from Great North Lodges as well - would definitely go back!

Lovely spacious house, good heating system and wood burner with limitless fuel. We had a very relaxing week. Outstanding hot tub and sauna. Great value for money would highly recommend. Lesley & Willie
