Family celebration week at this lovely cottage, had a few issues on arrival with the heating, electrics and bedding but Audra from the house keeping team soon sorted, so a big thank you.
We loved the original features of this cottage, luxury interior with very comfortable beds and furnishings. Loved the garden, hot tub and fire pit and all the extras with robes, slippers and a lovely welcome hamper. Very clean.
Just to note the property is down half mile track which is a bit bumpy and not good for low suspension cars, the property is split level with a few sets of steps inside, but gates are in position for children. More set up for 8 guests than 10, 8 sets of cutlery, crockery, dining chairs etc. Images don t show a neighbouring house , small holding right next door. Very few negatives, a lovely quirky well maintained property with original features in a lovely setting with lots of extras. We would recommend and hope to return.

We have just finished a wonderful week in your lovely, lovely converted mill. Really cozy house with loads of personality and traditional features as well as all the mod cons you could wish for. Loved the hot tub and the staff who came to check it were very friendly and professional too. Lots to keep the kids occupied and a fantastic, spacious garden to run around in too. We will be back xx

Only 130 miles from home, however we were transported into a whole new peaceful world at The Maltings. This place is idyllic and the kids had a ball getting close to nature. Well done on the high standards maintained by all concerned and the quality of the furnishings etc. We will be back! Thanks for all

What a charming and beautiful place to celebtrate Christmas in. The Mill is full of Scottish character – so beautifully restored and presented to the highest standards – it has been a joy to spend time inside relaxing. The table football has been much appreciated. The valley setting is stunning – especially in the snow – we have enjoyed many walks locally – usually involving the Nethybridge Hotel where we were welcomed. Spar Shop, Butchers Shop – best Turkey ever! We are sad to leave.

Fantastic house, loads of character and quirky features. The grandkids practically moved into the summerhouse. Really tranquil, loads of wildlife, felt we were really away from it all, yet only a few minutes from Nethybridge. Our third booking with GNL, never fail to impress and would highly recommend both the company and the Maltings as an excellent choice if you plan to visit the Cairngorms.

Wow…. We stayed here for a family break and didn’t regret it, absolutely perfect place to stay for a peaceful retreat. House is amazing with lots of original features from the mill and has a fantastic garden. We all enjoyed the hot tub which was a perfect end to a day visiting local distilleries. Great for kids too, daughter loved the games room.
On your doorstep are acres of forest with miles of tracks to explore. And as for the wildlife, there’s deer, golden eagles, voles and a variety of garden birds that you’re guaranteed to see daily. The security lights coming on at 4am was a little worrying… until we spotted it was a deer out exploring in the night!
Only slight negative is the single track road, it could really do with a couple of passing places as it’s quite long from both directions.
Will return 🙂

Gorgeous cottage, fantastic location & the owners communications & welcome was so relaxed & friendly. The secure garden was great for our dog, meant we could relax with a glass of wine whilst she played in the garden. Will definitely be back next year!

Wow! We were looking for a peaceful Easter break and what we got at The Maltings was that and so much more. Oozing character and extremely well equipped, we are already planning our return. Spolessly clean with very tasteful decor, what not to love? I must not forget to mention the mattresses, so comfy and from two people with sore backs, the best find ever. Superb!
