Wolf Lodge

We absolutely loved our stay at Wolf Lodge. You guys have thought of absolutely everything when it comes to facilities and it is the perfect, quiet, brilliantly located little lodge for accessing all of the usual tourist areas and woodland walks close by. The lodge itself is just perfect, it had plenty of space for our family of four plus our dog. The garden is secure so the kids and dog could easily go out and run around without worry. The hot tub and sauna were fab for us being able to unwind when the kids finally went down for the night (the bunk beds were just too exciting for them so they were awake for AGES chatting and playing). We would absolutely love to come back again!

Loved our stay as a family of 4 (2 young children) in July. Very clean and great amenities. Comfy beds and everything we needed for a few nights stay. We even managed to get a Tesco delivery! Would love to come back in the winter months.

When we arrived where we parked our car had poo from an animal everywhere it was difficult to not stand in and we cleaned this up ourselves. The lodge overall is lovely and cosy, perfect for our getaway and great north lodges were so accommodating when we needed to change our dates due to medical reasons. Apart from the outside it was clean and welcoming. During our stay someone did come over to check the hot tub levels and these facilities were easy to use with instructions provided. Other appliances such as the hob and Cooker were unnecessarily complex to operate and the instructions were not clear. When looking for a contact during our stay we finally found a number to help with the operation of the appliances and they responded that they were on holiday. They did advise via text answering our questions but otherwise felt very alone if we needed anything else during this time. General waste bin was full when we left but were clearly labelled which was good. Overall lovely stay.
