You don’t get much more rural than Glenfeshie House. A remote holiday home in the Cairngorms with possibly the best location in Scotland.
Your family and friends will be delighted to veer down the beaten track to arrive in Glenfeshie. You literally have the great outdoors from the doorstep, and excellent choice if you are keen to explore this jaw droppingly beautiful glen. Glenfeshie has an almost other worldly feel to it, it has been the scene of many films, most notably Centurion and The Outlaw King. Nearby, is the Uath Lochans. A stunning walk through a mixture of small lochans, hills and Caledonian Pines. You will certainly feel enriched from a family walk around them.
The house has been architecturally designed with an Arts and Crafts element, so it is very distinctive but somehow blends into the surrounding mature landscape. The accommodation is very large and boasts 5 bedrooms, the master being a very special room indeed. There are en-suites and family bathrooms for the twin rooms, giving your guests lots of privacy in your holiday home.
The lounge has ceiling height windows to bring the outdoors in, and a wood burning stove will ensure you are cosy.
You will love the kitchen space if you enjoy entertaining as the dining area is host to a large table for and a lovely old fire. Picture the family all together, wonderful sharing meals and enough wine to last the night through. A stay at Glenfeshie House is perfect for those who want to get away from everybody else and have a real sense of adventure and exploration. A fantastic house awaits you on your return from a long day in the Cairngorm National Park.
