Find your log cabin holiday in Scotland.
If staying in a log cabin with a hot tub is on your bucket list – the delightful Croft Kincardine might just tick a few boxes.
Off the beaten track, the log cabin sits slightly camouflaged by its sedum roof. There are virtually no neighbours in the near vicinity, you may already be sold on this as it is peaceful and private, but the jewel in the crown is yet to show itself.
As you approach, the cabin reveals lovely old birchwood, giving some shade and shelter. When you enter the property and walk to the living area, you might forget to explore the cabin as the draw to the outdoors is so huge. The view here is simply amazing! You can enjoy it from the hot tub, the fire pit, sitting outside the cabin or even with a rod by the River Spey.
The cabin is smartly dressed in traditional woolen soft furnishings, with a bit of the owner’s history and some quirky artwork intended to make you smile. In keeping with its log cabin roots, there are lovely checks in most rooms. The open plan living area includes a dining table and a comfortable lounge area that showcases a log burner, the focal point in the room. Lots of books, toys and a library of DVDs make family time very enjoyable.
It is also close to the RSPB Osprey Reserve, a ‘James Braid’ golf course and just a few miles from The Cairngorms. Croft Kincardine promises to deliver and we think it is one of the best log cabins in Scotland.
