WONDERFUL TIME
on Saturday, 11 Apr 2026
This is our second year staying at Balvattan Farmhouse, once again we were not let down, From the booing to the ore departure. I had to call the maintenance team fir an issue that came, the response was very quick and very professional. 5 In our party there's 10 of us, everyone loved the Farmhouse, so much room and everything was to hand, everything you want it is a case of tune up with your suitcase and food, We have no negatives to report back and we will be booking for next year this morning. Can't wait to be back I our Scotland family home. Many thanks to all the team absolutely wonderful.

Lovely farmhouse

We spent a wonderful and peaceful four nights at Balvattan Farmhouse. We enjoyed the fabulous views, the large private garden and the excellent outdoor facilities. The farmhouse is spacious and well equipped. Staff at GNL most helpful.

We couldn’t agree more — the views from the Farmhouse overlooking the Cairngorm Mountains are second to none. It’s the perfect spot to unwind in the hot tub and enjoy an evening of stargazing. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Perfect cottage for us

Lovely cottage, beautiful views, great location for Caingorms and woodland Loch walks. We enjoyed the hot tub and the log burning stove in the living room. Comfy mattresses. The enclosed garden was great for dogs and children.

We had a wonderful stay in the fabulous farmhouse, especially the kitchen, it was well equipped. That I’m not used to and hence brought everything with me. Needless to say I will have a lighter load next time I come. One thing that would be really useful, is some extra hooks in the downstairs bedroom, possibly on the bedroom door, as there is only one hook behind the en-suite door. Thank you for letting us share your lovely home.
