About Baddengorm Lodge

Baddengorm Lodge is a magnificent lodge set within in a clearing in beautiful woodland in the Cairngorms National Park. Sleeps 8 in 5 bedrooms.

Baddengorm Lodge has a large living room with free-standing circular wood burner. The entire open-plan living/kitchen/dining space is flooded with natural light from the large windows. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and has a fabulous en-suite bathroom with shower and free-standing bath. Up to the first floor are more bedrooms all with incredible woodland views. Baddengorm Lodge is a truly unique property and although there is two steps to the entrance at the front of the property, there is a wheelchair friendly side door with ramp. Externally there is a large games room with snooker table, table tennis and table football. The lawned garden, with patio, garden furniture and firepit is set in 10-acre grounds with woodland.

Bedroom 2: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.

Bedroom 3: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.

Please note: The property has a private water supply from a borehole. There is an unfenced stream, 5 yards away from the house and an unfenced lake, 30 yards away.

BADDENGORM LODGE REVIEW

Fantastic lodge in an amazing location. Would highly recommend it for a magical escape to the Highlands. Great place to chill out and relax but also close to some great attractions for the whole family. There was an awning over the decking which was not available for guests to use. It would be good to be able to use this or at least have a large parasol on the decking to be able to enjoy the outdoor space in all weathers. Also on the morning of checkout which was by 10 am. The power and water was not available from 09:30. Not sure if this was scheduled or it had tripped accidentally, but it did disrupt our checkout process.

Scenic, bright and very comfortable

Our large extended family stayed for a few peaceful days in beautiful Baddengorm Lodge for my husbands special birthday. The setting was picturesque and very private whilst the house was stunning with wrap around floor to ceiling windows on three sides. A separate games room (including full size snooker table) and bar was great for our one damp day. Everything we needed was provided for our 3 day stay. A really lovely place.

A lovely stay, beautiful location so private. One little downside being its not a quick walk to a shop however this is the price you pay when its so private and secluded. The town is only a 5 min drive. Only thing about the house thats missing is a hot tub. Overall a 9/10 stay those little complaints are being absolutely picky if we are being honest
