Scenic, bright and very comfortable
on Saturday, 30 May 2026
Our large extended family stayed for a few peaceful days in beautiful Baddengorm Lodge for my husbands special birthday. The setting was picturesque and very private whilst the house was stunning with wrap around floor to ceiling windows on three sides. A separate games room (including full size snooker table) and bar was great for our one damp day. Everything we needed was provided for our 3 day stay. A really lovely place.
There is something really special about Baddengorm Lodge, it's a great place to escape, relax and enjoy! We are delighted it was the perfect backdrop for your family celebrations - it really is a great place for all ages, especially as it has its very own games room. We hope to welcome you back one day.

Overall rating 9/10

A lovely stay, beautiful location so private. One little downside being its not a quick walk to a shop however this is the price you pay when its so private and secluded. The town is only a 5 min drive. Only thing about the house thats missing is a hot tub. Overall a 9/10 stay those little complaints are being absolutely picky if we are being honest
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay, the shops may not be on your doorstep at Baddengorm but what makes up for it is the tranquil peace and privacy you have at the Lodge and the many, many wildlife spotting opportunities. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Lovely place to enjoy a rural get away, great views. The grounds are lovely, no luck luring much wildlife into sight. Would have been nice to have a proper path around the grounds. Beds were comfortable and sound didn't penetrate into bedrooms so everyone got to stick to their own sleep schedules. The large place was warm and comfortable. Kitchen had two great ovens but little cupboard or counter space which made preparing food for a large group tricky. Plenty of seating options in the living space. Washing facilities good, though the hot water took quite a while to come through, there was enough for all of us. We would certainly consider booking again for a family gathering.
