  • We had a fantastic weekend at rowan cottage for my sister’s hen weekend. The cottage was just perfect. With four bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and plenty of living space both inside and out you would never of thought there were 9 adults living there. The hot tub was just the icing on the cake.
The location was perfect. The cottage looks onto the lochan and is very peaceful. It was just a couple of miles from aviemore so an ideal base for walking, cycling or just taking some time out.
My sister stayed on a few days with her fiance and discovered sone loveky walks including the speyside way which takes you straight in to aviemore from the cottage.
We all had a fantastic time and would definitely be heading back to rowan cottage again.

  • This was our 3rd visit to Rowan Cottage and we weren’t disappointed. The cottage is fantastic, very well equipped and plenty of space for our party of 9. The view from the Hot Tub is amazing.
The cottage is an ideal location, great for cycling great off road routes direct from the door and close to Aviemore for shops and restaurants. We love Rowan Cottage, it’s our favourite home from home.
    Thank you!

  • Fabulous cottage in a great location, the cottage has everything you need even sledges for the children, myself and my two sisters brought our children for a week they enjoyed every minute as did we, plenty space in the house and a lovely coal fire for cosy nights. So much to do in and around Aviemore we can recommend tree zone at rothemurchus well worth a visit. This was our second stay with great north lodges looking forward to choosing our next visit

  • This cottage was a perfect place for a mixed family group of 10, including two young children. The warm welcome of lights on as we arrived was typical of the cottage.
The bedrooms were spacious but cosy, and beautifully furnished. The excellent facilities made it a pleasure to use the kitchen, catering for the larger number than usual.
There was ample room to relax, with the large dining room, lounge, bright conservatory, and of course – the hot tub!
Our stay was for a weekend, but we could happily have extended if for much longer, whatever the weather.
