  • Our stay at Rowan Cottage was fantastic. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable with a good layout. Plenty of space for the children to explore.
Conveniently located so just a short drive from shops/supermarket (Tesco deliver to this address btw).
Loved watching deer and rabbits in the morning over a relaxing cuppa first thing. We spent such a peaceful and happy week here. Recommend!

  • This was our 3rd visit to Rowan Cottage and we weren’t disappointed. The cottage is fantastic, very well equipped and plenty of space for our party of 9. The view from the Hot Tub is amazing.
The cottage is an ideal location, great for cycling great off road routes direct from the door and close to Aviemore for shops and restaurants. We love Rowan Cottage, it’s our favourite home from home.
    Thank you!

  • Fabulous cottage in a great location, the cottage has everything you need even sledges for the children, myself and my two sisters brought our children for a week they enjoyed every minute as did we, plenty space in the house and a lovely coal fire for cosy nights. So much to do in and around Aviemore we can recommend tree zone at rothemurchus well worth a visit. This was our second stay with great north lodges looking forward to choosing our next visit

  • This cottage was a perfect place for a mixed family group of 10, including two young children. The warm welcome of lights on as we arrived was typical of the cottage.
The bedrooms were spacious but cosy, and beautifully furnished. The excellent facilities made it a pleasure to use the kitchen, catering for the larger number than usual.
There was ample room to relax, with the large dining room, lounge, bright conservatory, and of course – the hot tub!
Our stay was for a weekend, but we could happily have extended if for much longer, whatever the weather.
