Breakage Deposit

Breakage Deposit:  The Breakage Deposit is a security bond made between the client (Principal Renter) and the property owner, which is taken on the understanding that the client will take care of and cause no damage to the property rented during their stay. The principal renter agrees that the Breakage Deposit will be taken at the time of final payment or that any damages costs incurred can be debited from the Debit/Credit card used to make final payment. Great North Lodges also undertakes to return the Breakage Deposit (or balance thereof) within 14 days of your stay, or satisfaction of any remedial works required to meet the renters obligations in respect of the condition of the property (whichever is the later). Great North Lodges, reserve the right to charge the client automatically for any excess.

A Breakage Deposit will be taken at the following rates:

Highland Lodge Estate – £750 per rental/week.

Mountain Bear Lodge, Sky Mountain Lodge, The Crofts of Cairngorm, Old Mill on the Spey, Snowy River Lodge, Riverside Lodge, Black Grouse Lodge, Red Squirrel Lodge, Whisky Trail Lodge, The Post House, The Maltings and Wildcat Lodge – £500 per rental/week.

The Shieling, Rowan Cottage, Glenfeshie House, Beaver Creek Lodge, Two Farr Lodge, Pine Ridge Lodge, Cairn Lodge, Eagle Lodge, Spey Cottage, Burnside House, Pine Marten Lodge, Heather Cottage, Wolf Lodge, Bracken House, Hide Away Lodge and Salmon Run Lodge, Ski Lodge – £300 per rental/week

Otter Pool Lodge, 3 The Steadings, Silver Birch Cottage and Twa Hoots Lodge – £100 per rental/week
