About Pine Ridge Lodge

Pine Ridge Lodge is a beautifully appointed lodge in the village of Boat of Garten and is located on the scenic Speyside Way. It is only a short walk from the Golf and Tennis Club, Speyside Steam Railway (The Traitors Train!) The Boat Hotel, Andersons Restaurant ,Village Shop and Post Office and Ride Scotland Bike Hire.

Inside this uniquely designed lodge split over three levels, the living area has a vaulted ceiling, comfy leather sofas, cosy log burner and a balcony which has lovely views of the Cairngorm mountain range.

The large garden area is South facing and completely enclosed, with direct access to many kilometres of delightful forest walks. Catch the morning sun on the Breakfast Deck, accessed directly off the kitchen, and enjoy an evening Sundowner or some star gazing on the balcony.

There is a BBQ and a “Sitooterie” to enable the whole family to enjoy the garden all day. There is also a trampoline, slide, and table tennis which is under cover. A large hot tub, under its own gazebo, completes this amazing lodge.

Please note: this lodge is designed to be bookable for families and family groups, other groups must contact us before booking. This property is not able to accept bookings from Stag or Hen parties.

An ideal base in an idyllic place

Boat of Garten is a perfect holiday location but thats another story. The property gets my 5 stars for a number of reasons such as back gate gets you directly into the woods for dog trips and children adventures. The garden is huge but not intended to be a look but dont touch place. Run around as much as you like chasing screaming children. And its big. Theres a large common area where everyone can gather or sit out on the balcony and look at the stunning highlands whilst sipping on a large glass of something. I dont really want to go through everything there is as it would be a small novel and i am not part of the sales team so i will stop the guided tour. The property is maybe showing its age a bit in places but this does not detract from being a great place to holiday for big families (though I am not a fan of the stylish sink that was in our en-suite or am I being picky). Last year I gave 5 stars however the best indicator of our approval is to say that we are already booked up for next (our third) year. Just back and looking forward to next years trip. Did I mention the hot tub?

Great locations and such a quiet area with the only back ground noise being the sound of birds and wild life. Beautiful walks. Great for dogs and children alike
