We had a lovely time. The house was spacious clean warm and comfortable.

A wee bit TLC is required in the showers as water wouldn't drain away properly. Cushions in the kitchen area needs to be replaced ed but apart from that it was superb. We would definitely come back again. Hot tub was the star and the wildlife visiting out the back was magical. Three small deers came down every morning.
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at Bracken House. Its location on the border of the Craighellachie Nature Reserve means there's a very good chance of spotting wildlife on your doorstep.

We stayed in Bracken House for a week .
House was fantastic with the hot tub an added bonus .Plenty room for 6 and the house was fantastic in a great location

Bracken House Brilliant

We stayed at Bracken House for a week in late June 2026 and had a wonderful time. The house was lovely, very clean, comfortable and had every amenity you could have a need for. The location is set within stunning silver birch woods on the outskirts of Aviemore where you can walk into town within 15 minutes or set off into the surrounding mountains on foot direct from the door. The location is peaceful, yet close enough to the shops and anything else that Aviemore offers.
The house is spacious, very comfortable with everything you could need. It overlooks beautiful woods to rear where you can sit and spot wildlife.
Not sure what else you could want from a holiday in the Scottish Highlands at any time of the year.

Another fab holiday in Aviemore made so easy by booking through Great North Lodges - 4th different lodge I think and it didn’t fail to disappoint. Very well equipped in all the rooms, and the kitchen. So nice to have robes slippers for using the hot tub (which we did a lot!) and the major bonus with this hot tub is it’s undercover, no running down the garden in the cold! Would definitely book this lodge again. The app re: the home is so useful - remember to check it out for discounts to use in Aviemore too. Thanks GNL for helping make our holiday go well
